DEVICES AND TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT FOR INTERPRETING

INTERPRETING SERVICES: DEVICES AND TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT DURING EVENTS

Alltrad provides customers with the most suitable devices and technical equipment, including assistance, depending on the interpreting service, taking into account the type of location, the equipment already present on the premises, the number of participants, the schedule for the day, and the time needed for assembly and disassembly, etc.

Fruitful collaborations consolidated over the years with several technical partners in various places allow us to offer high-quality interpreting services to our customers, not only in Turin, but in the main cities and regions of Italy, as well as to prevent any technical problems regarding audio, video, or sound, etc.

The devices and technical equipment offered as part of the interpreting services comply with the UNE EN ISO 4043:2017 standard; in addition, specialised technical staff assist at the events to provide the customer with technical support during the event.

INTERPRETING SERVICES: TYPE OF DEVICES AND TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT

In particular, for simultaneous interpreting services, Alltrad provides systems, including: control units, booths, infrared receivers with headphones, amplifying systems, digital audio recording systems, and technical assistance.

In order not to be disturbed, interpreters work inside a booth that has the following minimum features:

  • sound insulation
  • fireproof material
  • good ventilation
  • optimal visibility.

The booths may also be located in different rooms in relation to where the main event takes place, thanks to the installation of closed-circuit video systems, which ensure that the interpreters can see the speakers and any documents that are displayed.

In special circumstances, for example when there are no more than 30/40 people at an event, the guided tour system may be used (mobile “Bidule” equipment).

This system is well suited when, for example, there are travelling foreign delegations or during company meetings, plant tours, workshops, presentations, or seminars.

The bidule is a system of portable receivers and transmitters that do not need an audio system: you just need to tune the microphones and receivers to the same frequency to ensure that the translated communication is immediately transmitted to the listeners.
