Regione Piemonte - Sviluppo Piemonte Turismo

In 2008, Alltrad won a tender promoted by Sviluppo Piemonte Turismo of the Regione Piemonte for translation of the contents of the www.torinopiemonte.com web site involving more than 1500 pages of editorial articles, newsletters, events translated into English, French and German. The project continued until 2009.



Fiat Powertrain Technologies

In 2008, Fiat Powertrain Technologies entrusted Alltrad with the translation into French of various SAP management modules for a total of more than 2000 pages. At the end of the project, Alltrad provided interpreting services for the technicians' training course at the FPT facility of Bourbon Lancy in France.



European Parliament

In 2002 Alltrad was the sole contractor appointed by the European Parliament to translate into Italian the Verbatim reports of proceedings of the European Parliament. These are published on the www.europarl.europa.eu website. Under the contract, which was renewed for 5 years until 2007, Alltrad translated over 50,000 pages.



Organising Committee for the XX Olympic Winter Games

In the run-up to and during the Torino 2006 Olympic Winter Games, between 2003 and 2006, Alltrad cooperated with

  • the Organising Committee for the XX Olympic Winter Games - Torino 2006
  • Turin City Council
  • Turismo Torino

translating articles for the Newsletter and pages of the official site regarding various projects, brochures regarding the competition venues and the various sports, safety manuals and also providing simultaneous interpreting services.



Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport

In 2005 Alltrad won a tender to provide translation and voice-over services as part of the project to introduce new computerised procedures to be used in tests for type A and B driving licences. Some 300 pages of quiz-type questions and related answers were translated into English, French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic and Chinese and also partly into German; all the texts were then recorded by native speakers in eight languages, i.e. in the six translated languages plus the Italian and German versions supplied by the client. The project lasted approximately one year.
